An Evening of Music at St. Barnabas Parish Hall

Join us for an evening of Folk and Roots music featuring the son of Stan Rogers, Nathan Rogers, with your hosts The Buccaneers on Friday, February 15, 2008. The doors open at 7:30pm with the show starting at 8:00pm.

Tickets for this family friendly, folk club style concert are $20.00 for Adults, $17.00 for Seniors & Students and $15.00 for Children. The concert is also a fundraising event in support of the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank.

Bring the whole family down to the St. Barnabas Parish Hall at 1407 -7 Ave NW for an evening of roots music for music lovers of all ages.

Some say he was born into it, some that he was born with it, while others claim he has earned it. With one foot planted firmly in folk music's traditional roots and the other reaching into its dynamic future, Nathan Rogers isn't entirely sure what 'it' is; singer, songwriter, guitarist, throat-chanter, percussionist, revivalist, or innovator. Whatever it may be, "Nathan has the ability to turn the folk world on its ears."

Cash donations for the Bignote Concert Society and non-perishable food donations for the Inter-Faith Food Bank will be accepted during the concert.

The Society

The Bignote Concert Society was created to present a lineup of concerts for its membership that offers exceptional talent and create experiences that are not only memorable but truly unique and special.
